an experiment into if sugimori style was possible with only ms paint. the AAing was really tedious, seriously... how's it look? ^^ i'm reasonably happy with it. took a few hours, but the result's pretty much what i could have hoped to get...

very cool, i like it. just, it ain't no sugimori art style that.

still, impressive pixel art, very good AAing, although the dithering bothers me... cause there isn't much of it, so it's like it's too little, or too much already... tried only AAing instead of dithering?
but anyway, for what's dithering, would need more gradation to be actually smooth enough.

but looks pwnsome, i like the eye. it's a bit too black though, because of the contrast with the white, you can't see the brighter zone of the iris.

wow, nevermore you didnt exactly get sugimori style but it looks very nice in its own style sorta cartoony good as a pixel art and now i think i may have a go :D

This is awesome. It looks like pixel-art and a Sugimori at the same time. The dropshadow looks odd to me though.
